About Us

MarLeigh McClellan

Store Owner

I started The Garment Gallery in 1995 in Burlington Vermont, I rented an old warehouse building from this awesome man who owned an eclectic pizza parlor called Leonardo’s (stop in if you’re ever in Burlington). The store was a great success, I bought everything outright from people and gave cash or did better for store credit. I rented anything in the store for plays, events, Halloween and even movies. Jim Carrey even chose The Garment Gallery to shop for clothing for the movie Me myself and Irene! The band members from Phish were frequent shoppers, I’m hoping to see them again one day here in Salem, Virginia. My point is. . . I’ve got some glorious items and I hope to see y’all soon!
